Lübeck

Proceedings of the Diet of Wendish cities in Lübeck, in which among others the eldermen of the Bergen merchants complain about the trade with Iceland, Shetland and the Faroes, whereupon all gathered cities except Hamburg decide that they shall refrain from this trade if Hamburg does so as well.

Up dat erste hebben der stede radessendebaden van Rostock, Straleszundt, Wismar, Luneborch unde de rath to Lubeke eyndrachtliken beleveth unde geslaten, in Islande uth eren steden noch de eren nicht to redende, noch to segelende, so verne alse de van Hamborch ock sodane reyse affstellen; dat den van Hamborch also is vorgegeven; de dat an eren rath to bringende unde mit deme besten vorttostellende seden unde des mit den ersten eyn antwerde to schickende. Is ock vordere beleveth, dusdanns an de van Bremen to vorschrivende.
