Furthermore, Hamburg merchants are hindering Bremen merchants in two harbours, and are trying to establish a monopoly on trading in Iceland.

It is claimed that a mistake was made in the license, as Losekanne and his predecessors have used the Ostforde for 80 years, whereas Wapenforde has been in use by Hamburg merchant Paul Lindeman for 20 years.
